Cane Master Grand Master Mark Shuey, Sr. continues to receive national attention.
INCLINE VILLAGE, NV - This summer's Wall Street Journal article by Jennifer Levitz continues to promote strong interest in Cane Master Mark Shuey, Sr. Not only was her story responsible for Mark's subsequent interviews and appearances on local and national television - Fox News, CBS Early Show, NBC News, CNN - the article has led to continued requests for additional interviews and more information on what Mark has to offer to seniors and others reliant on a cane for mobility. Mark was interviewed by Fox San Diego in November. PBS is currently interviewing students of the American Cane System in various locations and is scheduled to begin filming a story about him and his work in the areas of defense, health and rehabilitation in February in Florida. And nationally recognized AARP is preparing an article on Mark scheduled for March publication in its former Modern Maturity magazine now titled AARP The Magazine.
